Hey there, I am Julia López. I am a FIRST generation Latina, currently living in Saint Louis, Missouri.

I see relationships between significant moments and the candid, natural beauty that surrounds us every day. I consistently pursue the relationship between the built environment, nature, and how we hold relationships in these spaces while also reconciling the historical context of the space we find ourselves in. Saint Louis City as the foundational basis for this interpretation is particularly intriguing due to the amount of history which surrounds us, as the artwork speaks to the living and the forgotten environments.
